Announcing the new CWG Board for 2010

The process for nominations for the Board of Directors began in January, 2010 with a request to the general membership and many very qualified names were nominated making the selection process difficult. A Vice President was selected and his qualifications were reviewed with several Board members and this is especially important because the Vice President becomes the President the following year.

A slate was choosen with several Board members returning and four new Directors were completing the slate.  This slate of officers and directors was then presented to the general membership asking for a vote for or against the slate.   The votes were counted and the slate was accepted.   The normal practice is to present the new Officers and Board at the CWG European Conference, but many of the Board members could not attend the Vienna Conference due to the flight stopage caused by the Icelandic volcano.
