Hi All-
I recently found that once I apply a change number to an existing configuration profile it will create a new 'instance' of that profile with the change number, but It will not bring along the assigned characteristic groups. They need to be manually re-added to the new 'instance' of the configuration profile.
Is this design intent? It becomes extremely laborious having to add the groups back after any change is applied to the configuration profile. Is there a setting I may be missing?
Here you can see the same KMAT with multiple versions of the configuration profile with the change numbers. The characteristic group only exists with the first version, until it is manually added back again.
Figured id ask here first before opening an incident with SAP.
