Configuration in VC/AVC and CPQ

Dear Expert,

As I check that, CPC also provides configuration management.

Then, is there any reason to make configuration using VC/AVC not in CPQ?

If there is structed criteria to select the proper solution between VC/AVC and CPQ, it will help understanding.
