The New Advanced Variant Configuration Engine is Available!

Lots of hard work has lead to the release of S\4 HANA 1708.

This release DOES contain the new SAP Advanced Variant Configuration Engine (known as the AVC)..

The next major milestone is the 1709 release which is the On Premise version of S\4 HANA. This ALSO contains the new AVC!

As you might know, the October CWG Conference is fast approaching.

I'll be there again, presenting an overview on each master data object utilized in a Variant Configuration model. While targeted at the beginner in Variant Configuration, you just never know.. Maybe there will be a nugget in there for you.. And maybe just maybe, I might play the infamous "Beer or No Beer" game..

The 2017 European CWG Conference to be held in Hamburg, Germany on April 23 - 26, 2017

The conference this year will be held in the beautiful city of Hamburg in the suburb of Eppendorf at the Dorint Hotel on April 23 - 26, 2017.  

 

Please consider presenting a topic at the 2017 European CWG Conference!

All submissions will be reviewed by the CWG Program Committee and the submission deadline is April 1, 2017 
with preference given to presentation abstracts submitted prior to March 10, 2017.

We cannot accept any other abstracts from new attendees due to limited seats in the room. 
Sorry for that.

You will need to create a user account when you visit the abstract submission website.  
This is a separate user account and password from your CWG account and is used only for submission of abstracts.  
The website will guide you through the submission process.  
You may also upload a preliminary presentation if necessary.  
If you have submitted an abstract for a previous conference using the Converia tool, your username and password will still be valid.

Once your abstract has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the Program Committee.

But somehow the development of the CWG is so positive, that we need to consider to organize bigger events in the future.
