Henk is a Solution Architect for SAP Custom Development, where he specializes in architecting Configuration Applications for unique or complex customer scenarios, as well as SAP's own teaching of Advanced Modeling practice and theory. 

With experience in Configuration Applications reaching all the way back to 1986, Henk was not only one of the three original founders of the CWG (1993), as well as its first Secretary (1994), Chairman (1995), and President (2005), but also one of the two co-authors of its first and second Configuration Requirements Specifications (1994 and 1995).

As both of those Requirements Specifications illustrate, Best-of-Breed Configuration in SAP has never been far from Henk's mental horizons.

We are all familiar with the fact that the primary benefit of SAP is its integration. And we are also aware that, in return for the benefits of integration SAP's customers are "supposed" to have to give up Configuration functionality ... specifically Best-of-Breed Configuration functionality.

In our presentation we will show, with an example Product Model, and with an example Configuration, what we believe Best-of-Breed Configuration really involves. And how, as surprising as it might seem, SAP has an offering which gives exactly that.
