Howto - Create Future Events Banner- not in use anymore

To create a cwg future event banner you need to be in role admin.

At a glance

• Navigate to create content -> Future Events Banner.
• Insert a picture (max width: 210px) and link to the future events page.
• Remember: The old banner will not be deleted, but only the newest banner will be shown.
• You can also edit the current banner instead of creating a new one.

Detail

Generally there are two possibilities to create the new banner. You can create a new one or modify the current one (see below).

Create a new banner

Navigate to Create Content -> Future Events Banner.

Now fill in the title. It does not matter what you enter here. No one will see this title, but you can find it later under this title to modifiy your banner. The body field is for the banner itself. Upload an image (max width: 210px) of your choice and link it to the future events page. After submiting the form, the new banner will be shown. But the old one still exists. Only the newest banner will be visible.

Edit an existing banner

Instead of creating a complete new banner you can also modify an old one. For this go to Administer -> Content. Now you can filter for Future Event banners.

When you have found the banner you want to modify, simply click on edit.
