Howto - Create news | Configuration Workgroup

Preconditions:

To create news, you have to be at least in role “Author_News”. This means you have to see the menu “Create Content -> CWG News Type” below your username. If you have more roles, it’s possible you have access to even more menu points.

Write the news:

At a glance:
- Navigate to “Create Content -> CWG News Type”
- Fill in the fields (Do not use a teaser)
- Submit

Detail:

To write news you have to navigate to “Create Content -> CWG News Type” in the menu below your username. Now fill in a title under title and the news itself in the body section. Leave the teaser blank, because teasers of news will not be displayed, but only the full news. If you are ready just click on the submit button at the bottom of the page to publish the news.

Result:

Your news will now appear in “Public Information -> News” and on the front page.
