Howto - Create Views Example news_topics

Views are administrated and created in the view admin page.

Then you have another menu in every View, what provides you the possibility to:

When we add a new Node we need to select the type and name it.

After that we are getting redirected to the edit menu.

We can choose now what the view offers on displayable content, available are:

In our example we choose Block and click "Add display".

Now we have some basic settings to change.

We need definetly a title-> Latest and Updated news and a style-> Table.

You can change here a lot more but i can not assert all here. But google should help out quick.

Now we have to instruct he view what it should display. That we can choose when we click on the + in the Fields menu.

As you can see we just display the node title there are much more options available. Further options are available when you click on

the field itself.

The menu sort criteria allows us to set the preferences which title should be displayed.

Whe choose Node update and desc.

Finally we can choose which type of content should be displayed in the Filters menu we choose everything what has new in its name.
