BioBrian has been with Greenheck for over 11 years.  In this time, Brian has worked as an Industrial Engineer, achieved Lean Champion status in the Greenheck organization, been a key contributor to product redesigns, machine justifications & implementations, and lean concepts for shop floor execution.  Most recently Brian has assumed Team Lead role in variant configuration contributing to many implementations & projects thru knowledge in master data, VC objects, Bill of materials, workcenters & routings.

AbstractThis presentation will cover how Engineer to Order was configured at one company that uses dimensions products.  It will show some of the concepts including: sales bill of materials, result oriented order bill of materials, material instantiation, interfacing to order bill of materials, and a cutover strategy for implementation.
