AbstractThis presentation will describe a technique for increasing revenue through cross selling compatible accessories when a customer selects a preconfigured material variant. Through material determination, a configurable product is automatically substituted for the material variant. The user then has an opportunity to select compatible options modeled in VC or IPC which will work with the material variant originally selected, and can employ richer rules than provided by accessories / options techniques in CRM or ERP.
