CWG Chapter Update and Direction

Bio

Don Cochran has served on the CWG Board of Directors for two plus years, one of those years as the Vice President and just beginning as the President for 2010.  Last year, he initiated the new SIG/Focus Groups, CWG Chapters, chaired the Marketing Committee and participated in several Conferences’ Program Committee.

He has 19 years experience with a variety of software and consulting services companies offering configuration software and related advisory services. He is now responsible for managing and developing partner alliances, sales, business development and product management for eSpline and participates frequently in SAP VC/IPC projects in a governance role.  Don has been a regular participant and presenter in the CWG since 1998, missing only a meeting in 2004 and the recent Vienna conference.  He also has been a regular presenter at meetings since 2000.

Scott Perdue has been with Baldor Electric since 2003 has been involved with Variant Configuration since 2007.  His role is to serve as a technical lead in Baldor's efforts to develop VC and IPC to improve customers' experience in configuring custom product while streamlining the process to manufacture and deliver that product.  

Phil Martin has been involved in SAP Consulting for 15 years.  In the past year he has been focusing on the use of Variant Configuration for use in the Construction Industry.  In particular in the Home Building segment where he integrates Variant Configuration to Project Systems, Order Boms, Materials Management and Finance.
