Market Watch - 2010 is a very different view

BioDon has served on the CWG Board of Directors for two plus years, one of those years as the Vice President and just beginning as the President for 2010.  Last year, he initiated the new SIG/Focus Groups, CWG Chapters, chaired the Marketing Committee and participated in several Conferences’ Program Committee.
He has 19 years experience with a variety of software and consulting services companies offering configuration software and related advisory services. He is now responsible for managing and developing partner alliances, sales, business development and product management for eSpline and participates frequently in SAP VC/IPC projects in a governance role.  Don has been a regular participant and presenter in the CWG since 1998, missing only a meeting in 2004 and the recent Vienna conference.  He also has been a regular presenter at meetings since 2000.

AbstractThe market space for configuration solutions has changed dramatically over the last 3 to 5 years.  Acquisitions, new veritcal offerings and alliances with partners is now changing the scene.  This presentation will review some history of the configurator market and illustrate some predictions of a few years ago have come true.  Will also review the 2010 view of the configurator market.
