| Abstract | One of the business critical processes in the MRO business is the planning process. For our customer in the MRO Aerospace industry it was crucial to get an integrated planning and forecast functionality for TAT and cost and capacity planning about all shop visits. The planning function was one part of international SAP MRO solution. The backbone for the planning was WBS which was created according to Aircraft Engine structure. The presentation gives you an overview about the entire planning processes and a more detailed view on how Variant Configuration supports the planning process and which added values can be achieved with Variant Configuration. |
