BioScott has been with Baldor Electric since 2003 has been involved with Variant Configuration since 2007.  His role is to serve as a technical lead in Baldor's efforts to develop VC and IPC to improve customers' experience in configuring custom product while streamlining the process to manufacture and deliver that product.

AbstractWe'll get an update on Baldor's Variant/IPC solution since CWG 2009 with our eCommerce solution up and running.  The focus of the presentation will be on how Baldor uses VC and a little custom code to create a competitive advantage in the custom generator market by delivering customized Submital documentation and Engineering Specification documentation at the time the quote is saved.
