The Configuration Work Group was founded in the Fall of 1993, under the name of the "American Configuration Work Group," (ACWG) as a consortium of manufacturers working together to influence thedevelopment of a standard, best-of-breed configuration solution. What they all had in common included:
About the Configuration Workgroup (CWG)
The Configuration Workgroup e.V. (CWG) is global non-profit organization of SAP customers and partners, focused on the topic of product configuration as implemented by SAP, both in manufacturing and in sales context.

New England Chapter first face-to-face meeting
The CWG New England Chapter held its first face-to-face meeting on July 22nd immediately after the joint session with ASUG. The session started off with a "Ask the Expert" session with many questions asked to Lawrence and Daniel.
