The spring meeting 2002 of the Configuration Work Group has been held in Walldorf, Germany - at the SAP headquarters - on April 25th and 26th. With more than 90 participants this has been the largest CWG Meeting the CWG community has seen so far.

On May 8th and 9th the CWG was celebrating its 10th anniversary at the meeting in St. Leon-Rot. The motto of the meeting was:

Summary
With 130 participants (and a growth of 30% in meeting participation) the spring user group meeting on product configuration with SAP was the largest meeting the Configuration Work Group (CWG) so far had. Among the 69 represented organizations there were 37 customer companies, The 24 represented partners companies were mostly smaller partners with strong expertise on product configuration, but there also were a few representatives from large partners.

November 10th – General Assembly
We had about 60 attendees at the general assembly. 39 customer employees (representing 22 companies), 10 partner and 10 SAP employees attended the presentations on that day. Customer participation was about the same as last year. First time present were e.g. Nike and IBM Hosting.

This May CWG meeting had 141/118 registrants/attendees of which 74 where customer employees, 44 were partners or independents and 23 from SAP.

This year’s meeting motto was “Back to School” and thus our program’s emphasis was on learning. This included everything from learning new features, learning new techniques for doing existing features, and even a little learning from others’ mistakes.
CWG Conference May 2006 in Salzburg, Austria

For the first time the European CWG Conference was not held in Walldorf close to the SAP Labs but in beautiful Salzburg. This allowed all attendess to stay at the same conference hotel and provide for even more networking and knowledge exchange opportunities for european CWG members.
