Our PME VC Improvements Are Out!
Finally all of SAP's quality gates are behind us, and the new ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 5 is released for customers and entering the ramp-up phase.
For me this means that finally, after having talked about the significant enhancements we've made to the PME VC (remotely) in Vienna already, and in Marco Island again, I can finally say: it's out, it's there for you, and if you're using ERP 6.0 you can upgrade without much trouble and (of course) free of charge to EhP5 and use the new features.
The Dreaming Tree
Here we go again...Schneider's been sitting under the tables and dreaming...
Why you should participate in the CWG Developer Challenge
For a couple of months I'm proud owner of a Android-based smartphone. Only once I actually held such a device in my hands and played around with applications like Google Goggles, Layar, Shazam, Google Sky Map I noticed that a phone with an internet connection is not just a phone in which you can browse the web, but an entirely new beast.
The West Michigan Chapter Rides Again!!
Almost like Roy Rogers and Trigger, the West Michigan Chapter will come riding over the snowy hills into the early sunset of a Michgan winter day to meet one more time...OK, Roy and Trigger never saw snow, but the idea is sorta similiar.... :)
Marco Musings 2010
Home again, Home again....Jiggity jig..
If you attended the Marco Island conference this year, I hope your travels home were smooth and delay free...
And if you didn't get there...Well, you're stuck with this blog entry..
My personal takeaways from the CWG in Marco Island
Hi everybody,
First: welcome to my blog! Here I'll now and then give an update on what's going on inside the IPC / PME VC team at SAP and also show new and interesting things we're developing or have developed.
What did I learn from this CWG?
To Be(er) or not to Be(er)
Well, it's almost time again...Marco in the fall. A great place to be...Assuming I actually make it there (the wife is pretty sick and I'm really hoping I don't get it), I have a question to ask all of you...
Two Lane Highway
You see, I'm about to cancel the next West Michigan CWG Chapter meeting.
Not because I don't want to hold it, but because I can't due to other business committments. Neither can my co leader, and nobody else wants to step up to run it..
Which brings me back to the Two Lane Highway..
Any community like the CWG needs two way communication and participation.
